Playwell, founded in 1985 and based in Toronto, Ontario, has been part of the Hape Group since 2018. They distribute leading toy brands to retail stores and educational supply catalogues across every Canadian province and territory.

As a proud member of the Hape Group—and alongside Toynamics—we set out to position Playwell as the North American partner in the family. To reflect both its roots and its global connections, we combined the signature rainbow pinwheel with the iconic Canadian maple leaf, creating a logomark that proudly celebrates Playwell’s identity and its role within the wider group.
